a lunch with a tear...(based on a true experience) by Mashcharms Hope Fdo on Thursday, August 16, 2012 at 12:58am ·

It was the down canteen of the maharagama cancer institute..
I came to take my lunch while my visit to the hospital on 14th of august..
A small girl of may be 8 or 9 years was sitting...and her family was around an old man...who was getting his lunch...
All the other members were looking at him..
A lady who seems his daughter was comforting his chest from the back....
There was so much of care filled in her touch..
And a young man was standing with them
who i thought it was the husband of the young lady...
Another two women were there and trying to serve more food to the old man who was having the lunch....
Trust me.......
the lunch he was having was just plain rice without any curry but may be with curd or some thing like butter.....
Suddenly a cough...
He could't bear the pain...
I saw it in his eyes....
Most probably he was having the cancer on his throat...
One of the most painful cancer types...
But despite the pain after the cough he looked at his family and smiled.....
In that point all had tears...in their eyes...
And then the old man began to cry...
Hiding his face....
In that point only i knew that i was too having tears,
In my eyes....
But the small girl was still smiling and playing around...
After some time...
The family was gone..
But i was not able to complete my lunch...

There are thousands of cases which we will never feel until we have the same experience with one of our own family member...
Or until we see a case in time...
Don't wait for your own experience....
